Lorraine A. (Harney) Dixon

Lorraine A. Harney-Dixon, 71 of Riverton, left this earth at 2:02 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1945 in Lincoln, IL.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Harney-Long, her foster parents, Ethelyn and David Wild, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Miller.
Lorraine was a homemaker that had a passion for sewing.  She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.  She was one who could never miss an episode of Day of Our Lives.  She loved going on walks with her dog, Chance and spending time with her husband traveling on bus trips together.   She and her husband celebrated 50 years of marriage in September of 2015.
Surviving are her husband, Robert (Bob); three daughters, Tammy (Jerry) Miller, Angel (Heath) Lane and Heather (John) Nelson; two grandchildren, Michael (Kayla) Miller and Amanda Miller; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Mia; many foster brothers and sisters including, Lloyd (Bud) Barnard, Jean Lebel and Sandra Matrisch; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till time of services at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Rev. Milton Bost officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
