Leonard A. Dennison, Jr., 42, of Greenview went to Heaven on Friday, May 26, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family..

He was born Jan. 17, 1975 in Springfield, OH the son of Leonard and Mary Kremitzki Dennison, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather, Robert Kremitzki, grandfather, Delmar Dennison, Sr., and his grandmother, Sarah Bell Dennison.

Leonard married Amy Ersery on September 11, 2010.

Leonard grew up in Virden but moved to South Carolina as a young man to pursue his career in flooring and landscaping. He returned to Central IL in 2008 where he would eventually meet his wife and settle down. He was a laborer by trade and was very talented at his profession. He enjoyed anything NASCAR and rooting on Dale Earnhart, Jr. He also loved watching the Cubs battle the Cardinals, but was happiest spending time with his wife Amy, children, and close friends. Leonard will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

Surviving are his wife, Amy; one daughter, Ashley; two sons, Austin and Logan; mother, Mary (George) Rohlfing; grandmother, Marlene Kremitzki;  sisters, Michele Ivy, Nina (Edward) Golab, Denise Dennison, Lisa (Cory) Roberts, Marlene (Bradley) Vajdak, Misty (Logan) Campbell; one brother, Kenneth (Karen) Dennison; lots of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Nick Oyler and Chaplain Bob Twist officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospice Sharing Wishes.

The family would like to thank Memorial Hospice for their exceptional work and care for Leonard and the family during this very difficult time.
