Irene L. Cole

Irene L. Cole, 85 of Springfield, formerly of Divernon, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital.

She was born Dec. 26, 1931 in Perry, IA, the daughter of Alfred and Blanche Geissinger Noack.

Irene married Loyal Dean on Oct. 23, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2014.

She was a member of Southern View Chapel.

Surviving are her four children, Stephen (Debbie) Cole of Springfield, Karla (Tim) Vangeison of Divernon, Ronald (Kris) Cole of Springfield, and Linda (Doug) Cunningham of Chatham; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon.  Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Gilley officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.

Memorial may be made to Southern View Chapel, Springfield.
