Mary C. Brister

Mary C. Brister, 85 of Divernon passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 of St. John’s Hospital.

She was born Jan. 7, 1932 in Hardinsburg, KY, the daughter of Felix and Ruby Dyer Tucker.

She married Bobbie Brister on Dec. 24, 1955 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1988.  She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Kelly on Nov. 24, 2002; two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are one son, Bob Brister of Ormond Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Jenna Kathryn Broom, Samuel Ray Broom and Mackenzie Rae Brister.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m., Wed., Jan. 11, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon.  Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.  Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
