Willis T. Harris

Willis T. Harris, 85 of Virden passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Sunrise Manor.

He was born Dec. 21, 1934 in Marion, IL the son of Ralph and Edna Huffmaster Harris.

He married Dorothy Glen on April 27, 1963 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 28, 2014. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Moake.

Willis served in the US Army. He will be forever known as the flower delivery man when he owned Your Flower Shop. He was a member of the Thayer United Methodist Church and Virden American Legion.

Surviving are his son, Ralph (Kim) Harris; one grandson, Ryan (Lora) Harris; two granddaughters, Natalie (Matt) Lanctot and Abby Jennings; and five great grandchildren.

Private family services were held. Burial will be at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
