William “Bill” E. Stufflebeam

William “Bill” E. Stufflebeam, 66 of Pawnee passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.

He was born August 13, 1958 in Springfield, the son of Hershel and Peggy Carter Stufflebeam. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stufflebeam and a sister, Brenda Fortner.

Bill served in the US Navy. He was an over the road truck driver for must of his life. Bill was also an avid church goer at New Life Family Church in Auburn and drummer.

Surviving are his children, Allie Stufflebeam, William “Billy” Stufflebeam, and Benjamin Stufflebeam; two grandsons, Max and Cooper Stufflebeam; six sisters, Ruth McGraw, Barb Stufflebeam, Sandy Stufflebeam, Penny Zuecher, Kimberly Blankenship, and April Bustamante; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation rites were accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
