William “Bill” Seelbach, 85 of Farmersville passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 28, 1938 in Farmersville, the son of Alvin and Gertrude Murphy Seelbach. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Bob, Alvin, Dale and Jim.
He married Judith Brockamp on Oct. 28, 1962.
Bill retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company after 39 years. He was a member of the Farmersville Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Bill was a member of the Air National Guard.
Bill loved gardening and working outside. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Fighting Illini and Notre Dame football.
Surviving are his wife, Judy; his children, Doug (Dawn) Seelbach, Beth (late husband, Tom) Blake, Melissa (late husband, Jeff) Litterst, Greg (Kathy) Seelbach and Tim (Rachel) Seelbach; thirteen grandchildren, Cassandra, Katelin and William Seelbach, Tom and Steve Blake, Adam and Madeline Litterst, Jacob, Luke and Joseph Seelbach, Kaylee, Taylor and Brady Seelbach; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9am till time of funeral mass at 11am, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Farmersville with Rev. Florent Kanga officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Farmersville.
