Velma L. Millburg, 91 of Auburn passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
She was born March 15, 1930 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Pearley and Viola Smith Mondhink.
She married Howard Millburg on Nov. 5, 1952 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2015. Also, preceded in death by a brother, Pearley Mondhink, Jr. and a grandson, Austin DuBois.
Velma was a member of St. Benedict’s Church, Auburn and the Altar Society. She was retired from Horace Mann Insurance.
Surviving are five sons, Chris, Phil (Linda), Mark, Jeff (Carroll) and Stan; two daughters, Sharlene Moore and Cindy (Chuck) DuBois; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ida Mae Miller; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5pm till 7pm, Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn. Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Thursday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Auburn with Rev. James Palakudy. Burial will be in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Raymond.
