Travis Owen Clem, 37 of Sacramento, CA; formerly of Auburn, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in an accident at Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada.
He was born April 15, 1987 in Auburn; son of Dennis Clem and Teresa Redfern Clem.
He was a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist at Mather Veterans Administration Hospital in Rancho Cordova, CA for the past six years. Previously he had been at Hattiesburg Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS and then at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, MO. He received his education at St. John's Hospital and Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL.
Travis was an avid motorcyclist and outdoorsman who road every pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and hiked, or skied many mountain trails. When not out in the wild he loved to spend time with his family, especially his nephew and niece.
Surviving are his parents; brothers, Zachary (Rochelle Ker) Clem and Derrick (Erin) Clem; nephews, Corbin Clem and Carter Clem and niece, Kenlele Clem; Aunt Kathy (Scott) Rakes and Uncle Kevin (Kelly) Redfern and several cousins.
Visitation will be from 5pm till 7pm, Friday, August 23, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn. Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Saturday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Auburn with Rev. James Palakudy officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Glenarm.
