Timothy "Tim" Vangeison

Timothy “Tim” Vangeison,  72 of Divernon passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born September 3, 1950 in Springfield, the son of Donald and Coralie Graham Vangeison. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

He married Karla Copelin on December 18, 1982 at Berean Baptist Church in Springfield

Tim graduated from Pawnee High School and then went to Maranatha Baptist University graduating with his Bachelors. He worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 2019.

Surviving are his wife, Karla; three children, Jim (Heather) Copelin, Darrin (Jenny) Copelin and Sarah (Josh) Hayes; six grandchildren, Wesley Copelin, Brandon Copelin, Ayden Copelin, Amelia Hayes, Noah Hayes, Zoey Stoughton, and Hannah Hayes; four siblings, Linda (Larry) Blum, Miriam Zentz, Tom (Vickie) Vangeison and Mark Vangeison; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10 am until time of services at 11:30 am at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon, 150 Reichert Road with Pastor Joshua Steely officiating. Private family burial will be later.

Memorials may be made to Chatham Baptist Church.
