Susan Kay Bell

Susan Kay Bell (Balster), aged 75, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Auburn, Illinois. Born on July 21, 1948, in Springfield, Illinois, she was a cherished member of the Balster family. 

Susan attended Petersburg High School before pursuing her passion for beauty and wellness at the University of Spa & Cosmetology Arts in Springfield, Illinois. Her vibrant spirit and warm smile were a beacon of light in the lives of those she touched.

A devout member New Life Family Church, Susan found great comfort and community in her faith. Her commitment to her church and its members was evident in the love and dedication she showed to every aspect of her worship.

Susan is survived by her two daughters, Kelli Bell Smith and Karen Roseberry Anderson Rosenberger; six grandchildren; sister, Judy Balster Doggett; brother, John Jr. Balster. She was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Emily Eades Balster and her sister, Mary Ann Balster Smith.

A service to celebrate Susan‘s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at New Life Family Church, located at 303 S. Clover Ln., Auburn, IL. 62615. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
