Sharon Sue Bertels

Sharon Sue Bertels, 77 of Springfield, formerly of Pawnee passed away Saturday, Jan 29, 2022 at her home.

She was born Sept. 7, 1944 in Springfield, the daughter of Samuel and Gertrude Glenn Brewer.

Sue married David Lee Miller and he preceded her in death.  She later married Henry Gene Bertels and he preceded her in death.  Also, preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Cecil and Richard Brewer.

She loved her dogs, cooking and gardening.

Surviving are her sons, Jeffery (Dawn) Allan Miller of Springfield and Michael (Chawna) David Miller both of Springfield; two grandchildren, Brachan (Alexandra) Miller and Savanna Miller; two great grandchildren Micha and Maylee; one brother, Dennis (Cindy) Brewer; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:30pm till time of services at 1:30pm, Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn.  Burial will be in Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield, IL 62702.
