Scott M. Belt

Scott M. Belt, 47 of Farmersville, formerly of Divernon passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at his home.

He was born June 21, 1974 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Michael and Rose Mary Copelin Belt.  He was preceded in death by his mother, granddaughter, Alivia and nephew, Brandon McGill.

He married Brea Collins.

Scott loved his kids, fishing, working with his hands and on cars.

Surviving are his wife, Brea Belt;  two daughters, Terri (Cody) Rabich and Elizabeth Belt; grandson, Joseph; father and step-mother, Mike (Sharon) Belt; sister, Pam (Todd) McGill; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sept. 18, 2021 from 4 till 7 pm at the Community Building in Thayer, 114 E. Sycamore.
