Roberta “Bert” A. Brown

Roberta “Bert” A. Brown, 86 of Chatham passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Villas of Holly Brook in Chatham.

She was born May 11, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes Lard Miller, Sr.

Bert married Billie Gene Brown on June 20, 1964 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2024.  Also, preceded by one sister, Helen Moughan; two brothers, Alfred (Bud) Miller, Jr. and Leo Miller.

She enjoyed crocheting and play cards.

Surviving are three children, Terri (Jimmy) Turner, Linda Spyres, and Diana Lewis; three step-children, Cheryl Brown, Roger Brown,  and Tammy Deheve; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Williams; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for Billie Gene and Roberta at 11am, Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
