Robert E. (Bob) Williams, 65, formerly of Auburn passed away from Covid complications on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 in Mission, TX.
He was born July 27, 1955, the son of Robert and Donna Williams. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; son, Jeremy; two brothers, Gary and Ron; and other beloved family members.
Bob married his high school sweetheart Kathy Christman on Feb. 2, 1974 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn.
Bob and Kathy moved to Rock Springs, WY in 1979 where he began his lifelong career in the oil field. They lived in 7 states in their 47 years of marriage, 3 of them twice. They raised their children Becky and Adam in Cortez, CO.
He retired in June, 2015 from Baker Hughes after 26 years to enjoy their life long dream of year round warm weather living in KS and TX.
Surviving are his wife and best friend of 50 years, Kathy; children, Becky (Craig) and Adam; mother, Donna; two brothers, Steven and Dennis; sister, Karen; several nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren that called him Papa and a new baby boy coming in August.
CDC protocol shall be followed with face masks required and 50 people in the building at a time.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of services at 11am, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn with Rev Richard R. Harre officiating. Burial will be in Stout Cemetery, Chatham.
