Rickie Myers

Rickie Myers, 73 lifelong resident of Raymond, IL, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

He was born January 10, 1952 in Morrisonville, the son of Glenn and Lois Smith Myers. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Lois and Art Overby and his father and step-mother, Glenn and Betty Jo Myers.

He married Janet Hough on July 13, 1974 and they later divorced.

Rick owned and operated several businesses during his career including Myers Standard Service, Myers Auto Supply and Myers Radiator Service.  For many years, he enjoyed building and working on drag racing vehicles with many friends and family members.

Surviving are his siblings, David (Charlene) Myers, Brad (Emily) Overby, Kathi (Ronnie) Vieregge, Debbie (Danny) McCallum, Brenda (David) Falter, Roger (Donna) Myers, Teresa (Cloide) Wentler, Todd (Carrie) Overby, and Jeff (Bobbi) Overby; many nieces and nephews; a foster son, William Thomas.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
