Rhonda R. Deavult-Smith

Rhonda R. Deavult-Smith, 50 of Pawnee passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born May 17, 1971 in Springfield, the daughter of Van and Edith Gilvin Deavult.  Her parents preceded her in death.

She married James Smith on May 21, 2001.

Rhonda was a graduate of Lincoln Land in 1991 and Sangamon State in 1993.  She then got her certified occupational therapy degree in 1998.  She worked for Memorial Home Services and the Pawnee School District.

She was a member of the Pawnee United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James; two sons, Evan and Ryan; one sister, Sandy (David) Bell; one brother, Michael Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5pm till 7pm, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Pawnee United Methodist Church.  Services will be at 10:30am, Wednesday at the church with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.  Burial will be at Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
