Reba Jean Cloyd

Reba Jean Cloyd, 71 of New Berlin, IL passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1949 in Meredosia, IL the daughter of Richard and Rachel Clark.

She married Lee “Monty” Cloyd on Sept. 27, 1973 and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2011. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, her twin, Frank, and Ted, and one sister, Lenora Fisher.

Reba was a Physical Education teacher, Dean of Students, coach and mentor at Winchester High School for 36 years retiring in 2005. She continued to substitute teach in the area for a time after retirement. She enjoyed working with kids of all ages.

Surviving are two daughters, Stacey (Joe) Littlejohn and Anita (Kelsey) Schwab; five grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.

CDC protocol shall be followed with face masks required and limited attendance.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am till 11:00 am Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at Cornerstone Community Church in Auburn. Private family services will be held following the visitation with Rev. Nick Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Community Cemetery.
