Raymond Lee "Ray" Rector Obituary

Raymond Lee “Ray” Rector, 63 of Auburn passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Regency Care in Springfield.

He was born September 17, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Donald and Beira Mendives Rector. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ray served in the US Airforce from 1978 to 1984. He retired from MJ Keller in 2023.

Surviving are two brothers, Brian (Kaye) Rector and Donald (Laurie) Rector; companion, Shannon Simmons; 7 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and 3 great-great nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
