Phyllis Long, 77 of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 at Hillsboro Rehab.
She was born Oct. 22, 1943 in Springfield, the daughter of Theodore and Coy Smith Long. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Philip and Teddy.
Phyllis worked as a nanny for the Smith family of Winnetka for the majority of her life. She was a member of New Life Family Church. She had an intense love for golden retrievers.
Surviving are one sister, Georgie Long of Pawnee; two nieces, Gier Perkins and Kelly Jackson; four nephews, Ted, Danny, Matthew and Kyle Long; several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30am till time of services at 10:30am, Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 at New Life Family Church in Auburn with Rev. Larry Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery, Raymond.
