Peggy Jo Taylor

Peggy Jo Taylor, 78 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1944 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of John and Norma McKee.  She was preceded in death by her parents and companion, Sandra Menacker.

Peggy retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.

Peggy had two dogs that she loved and spoiled, Biscuit and Charlie.  She was always ready for adventure especially, trips to Las Vegas and Florida.  She loved to play cards and you could catch her at bingo on Tuesday nights with her granddaughter and friends.  She enjoyed gardening, watching game shows, and veterinary shows. 

Peggy is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Surviving are her daughter, Leeann Gathard and granddaughter, Bailee Woods.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Auburn Community Center on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022 from 2pm till 4pm.
