Peggy Marie Smith

Peggy Marie Smith, 76 of Divernon passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at her home.

She was born Feb. 19, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Eldo and Ana Mae Gabbie Eaglan.

She married Henry L. Smith on Sept. 18, 1960 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1998.  Also, preceded in death by one son, Bill Smith.

Peggy was a past worthy matron of the Pawnee O.E.S. Chapter 436.

Surviving are one daughter, Michell Smith; one son, Bob (Kari) Smith; six grandchildren; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; several brothers and sisters.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Divernon Presbyterian Church, 265 S. 2nd St., Divernon, IL 62530.
