Norma Jean McGown

Norma Jean McGown, 96 of Virden passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022.

She was born April 25, 1926 in Virden, the daughter of George and Leona Gibson Fuiten.

She married Robert McGown on Jan 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1999.  She was also preceded in death by three sons, Michael, Terry and Robin.

Surviving are two sons, Jon Ed and Steve McGown; twelve grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; her beloved cat, Ike; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 2pm, Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 at Virden Cemetery with Chaplain Terry Link officiating.
