Michael "Hap/Happy" A. Dicks

Michael A. “Hap/Happy” Dicks, 62 of Palmyra, formerly of Pawnee, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at his farm that he loved.

He was born May 3, 1961 in Louisville, KY the son of Thomas and Phyllis Fitzgerald Dicks. He was preceded in death by his father.

He married Susan Hilton on May 1, 1987.

Hap graduated from SIU Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. He was a Union Plasterer Local 18. Hap enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife Susan; one daughter, Amanda (Anthony) Dicks Abbonato; his mother, Phyllis Dicks; three siblings, Tom (Christy) Dicks, Mary (Rick) Carter, and Kurt (Nicole) Dicks; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn.
