Michael Anthony Goyke, 26, of Pawnee, passed away November 10, 2021 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
He was born on January 17, 1995 in Springfield to Bill and Char Goyke.
Michael was a resident of Pawnee all of his life. He was a graduate of Pawnee High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College where he received his Associates in Business and a certificate in Culinary. He worked at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in the coffee shop as a Barista. Michael was an avid baker and enjoyed dreaming about the bakery he wanted to open in the future called Sunshine Bakery. He was a real big people pleaser and brought a smile to everyone’s face when he met them.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Char Goyke of Pawnee; one sister, Beth (Matt) Brown of Loami; one brother, Chris (Nichole Miller) Goyke of Springfield; one grandparent, Henry Papale of Pennsylvania and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Loretta Goyke, and Dolores Papale.
Per CDC and Governor’s mandate masks are required in the building.
Visitation will be from 4pm-7pm, Monday November 15, 2021 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Casual wear is encouraged or wear the color orange because that was his favorite color.
A private burial at a later date.
