Mary S. Gilbert

Mary S. Gilbert, 91 of Pawnee passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Hillsboro Nursing and Rehab.

She was born Sept. 6, 1929 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Henry and Lena Anderson Dozier.

She married James Irvine Gilbert on Dec. 18, 1954 and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1987. Also preceded in death by her brother, John Dozier.

Surviving are five sisters, Helen Fritzgerald, Martha Nation, Betty Schroeder, Dorothy (Irv) Eyer and Pauline (John) Peebles; several nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon with Rev. Carol Creech officiating.
