Marjorie Jo Eldridge

Marjorie Jo Eldridge, 81 of Virden passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023 at St. John’s Hospital.

She was born June 30, 1942, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Centko Yasinski.

She married Bruce Eldridge on Jan. 21, 1966 and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2022.

Marjorie was a nurse at St. John’s Hospital for 35 years prior to her retirement.

Surviving are five children, Daniel (Charlene) Eldridge of New Berlin, Bruce L. (Denise) Eldridge of Auburn, Scott (Jackie) Eldridge of Auburn, Mark (Beth) Eldridge of Jerseyville and Nanci (Paul) Lore of New Berlin; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5pm till 7pm, Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Friday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Rev. James Palakudy officiating.  Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
