Margaret Kathleen (Baggerly) Rebbe

Margaret Kathleen (Baggerly) Rebbe, 92 of Auburn passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at Eastland Retirement Community in Auburn.

She was born January 13, 1932 in Versailles, IL; the daughter of Harry Lester and Lucy Merle (Garrison) Baggerly.  She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Robert Landers, Charles Silveus and Daniel Rebbe; three sons, Michael and John Landers and Chuck Silveus; two brothers, Harold and Judson Baggerly; two sisters, Linda Sue Baggerly and Betty Graegin; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Silveus and Mindy Landers; one granddaughter, Lori Lee Silveus.

Margaret lived most of her life in Auburn.  She worked as a waitress and hostess in various restaurants in Springfield.  She retired from Dickey-john Corporation with 26 years of service.  After retiring she worked for eight years for Educational Tours in Springfield. 

In her free time, Margaret enjoyed quilting, crocheting, traveling and various craft projects.

Surviving are her six children, Joseph (Marsha) Landers, Robert (Michele) Landers, Tom Landers, Terry Silveus, Jud (Jo) Silveus and Patricia (Steve) Corcoran; two daughters-in-law, Loni Landers and Diana Landers; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jack (Elizabeth) Baggerly, Harry (Janet) Baggerly and Donna Hock; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12pm till time of services at 1:30pm, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Auburn with Rev. David Van Bebber officiating.  Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Auburn.
