Lucille Irene Williams, 86 of Divernon passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
The daughter of William Cornelius "Neal" Nichols (1895-1963) and Ethel "Pearl" Fugate Renfrow Nichols (1895-1958) of Divernon.
She has one surviving brother Neal Nichols, Jr and was preceded in death by her siblings, Clarence Ernest "Ernie" Renfrow, Dorothy Louise Nichols Baker, Lewis Franklin "Frank" (Gloria) Nichols, and Jack George Nichols.
She married Charles Williams on August 27, 1962 and has two children, Kevin (Jean) Williams and Sherri Williams with three dearly loved grandchildren, Jared Williams, Kara (Matthew) Strubinger, and Kurtis (Paige) Williams with one great grandchild Myles.
Lucille was a life-long resident and advocate for Divernon and was active in the community as the Divernon Alumni Association secretary. Not only did she maintain alumni contacts but shared many memories and stories from her life as a Dragon. She entertained many residents throughout the years as Lucille, Aunt Ceal and Grandma. She will be dearly missed by many and was loved by all who knew her.
Visitation will be at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon from 2:00 till 4:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2022. Services will be 2:30 pm Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Bobby Davis officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
