Lucille Fishburn Obituary

Lucille Fishburn, 104 of Auburn passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

She was born July 8, 1919 in Assumption, the daughter of William and Anna McKinney Crowe.

She married Sam Fishburn on November 8, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 1, 1998.  Also, preceded In death by one daughter, Linda Becker; one son, Bob Fishburn; son-in-law, Dan Garren; grandson, Aaron Goodin; great-granddaughter, Breanna Hogge; four sisters and two brothers.

Lucille was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Surviving are four daughters, Betty (Damon) Smith, Wanda (Brad) Goodin, Millie Garren and Pat McLean; one son, Curt Fishburn; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Mary Helen) Crowe and Bill (Pat) Crowe; two sisters, Jane King and Phoebe Oliver; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9am till time of funeral mass at 10:30am, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn with Rev. James Palakudy and Rev. Martin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.

Memorial may be made to Auburn Emergency Squad.
