Linda Jo Huson

Linda Jo Huson of Palmyra passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born November 23, 1953 in Springfield; the daughter of Henry and Georgia Dill Parkinson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jamie and one brother, Terry.

She married David Huson on July 19, 1998.

When she was young, she worked for her grandpa at his print shop, EB Printing in Springfield.  She later worked at Secretary of State until her retirement. 

Linda Jo had a love for all kinds of music.  She had a great love for her family and friends and they all loved her.

Surviving are her husband, David of 28 years; one daughter, Darcey Langiano; one step-son, Michael Pitman; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
