Leila Kay Crocker, 78 of Divernon passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020 at her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1942 in New Castle, IN, the daughter of Clarence and Virginia Wolfe Eans. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Landis Dwayne and Jackie Eans.
She married Floyd “Bud” Crocker, Jr. on Nov. 24, 1960.
Leila was a member of the Pawnee Christian Church and a member of the D.A.R. Springfield Chapter. She and Bud were also foster parents to 23 kids.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd “Bud”; two daughters, Jenny (Tim) Harkins and Janice Dawson; one son, Floyd “Matt” (Kathy) Crocker III; six grandchildren, Josh (Heather) and Jeremy (Kyleigh) Covi, Heather (Eric) Saunders, Matthew (Kate) Crocker, Jescka (Markus) Robinson and Alex Harkins; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry (Barbara) Eans and Fred (Joyce) Eans, Sr; several nieces and nephews.
The family will host a memorial celebration of life to be held at 5pm, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 at the Pawnee Christian Church. The family will greet friends and family following the service till 7pm.
