Larry G. Hopkins

Larry G. Hopkins, 84 of Springfield passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Cedarhurst Senior Living.

He was born November 20, 1939 in Vandalia, IL the son of Marvin and Cora Rhodes Hopkins. He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Hopkins; a great grandson, Theo Buse; a brother, Phillip Hopkins; and a sister, Carol Yuenger.

Larry married Roxann Kay Feldman on August 16, 1959 in Peoria, IL.

Larry served in the US Air Force and retired from the Air National Guard after 32 years. He loved to work on airplanes and his Cadillacs.

Surviving are his wife Roxann; two daughters, Kelly (Johnny, deceased) Johnson and Lenore (Bob) Roth; one son, Tracy (Betty) Hopkins; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Cedarhurst Senior Living, 3520 Old Jacksonville Rd, Springfield, IL 62711.
