Kent "Doc" Dolenc

Kent “Doc” Dolenc, 60 of Springfield passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 as the result of an auto accident.

He was born May 13, 1961 in Jacksonville, IL; the son of Anton and Patricia Hockenberry Dolenc.  He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Derek Dolenc.

He married Terry Chandler on July 3, 1993.

Surviving are his wife, Terry; one son, Samuel Terry Dolenc; one daughter, Bailey Elizabeth (Adam) Westrich; mother and step-father, Pat (Kenny) Allen; one sister, Annette (Lenny) Coleman; one brother, Doug (Mindy) Dolenc; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Beryl and Dolores Chandler; one brother-in-law, David (Shawn) Chandler; one sister-in-law, Holly (Scott) Nichols; two God children, Conner and Crystal Nichols; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2pm till 8pm, Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022 at Edgewood Golf Course in Auburn.
