Julia M. Grigsby

Julia M. Grigsby, 83 of Springfield passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at St. John’s Hospital.

She was born August 22, 1940 in Peoria, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Romaro Waterfield.

Julia married Kenneth Grigsby on May 29, 1959 in Peoria and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2009.  Also, preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Dawn (deceased, Todd) Foster, Debi (Darren) Burns, and Denise (Andy) McCarrel; two sons, David (partner, Stephanie) and Dan (Jennifer) Grigsby; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
