Journee Renée Sockwell

Journee Renée Sockwell infant daughter of Jasmine Hargrove and Dustin Sockwell passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 at St. John’s Hospital.

She was born May 18, 2026 in Springfield.

Journee would light up at the sound of the little platypus noise her dad would make just for her.  She loved her passie and could spend time gazing out the window, fascinated by the lights outside.  She was such a chatty little girl, always babbling away at the people around her as if she had so much to say.

Journee was always happy, always bringing a little light wherever she went.  Her sweet smile, her happy spirit, and those precious little sounds she made will forever be treasured by everyone that loved her.

Surviving are her parents; one brother, Daiton Sockwell; one sister, Brielle Sockwell; maternal grandparents, André James and Reneé Hargrove; paternal grandparents, Mary and Charles Blakely and Dennis Sockwell; two uncles.
