John William Stroisch, Jr.

John William Stroisch, Jr. 80 of Virden, formerly of Auburn, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.

He was born January 20, 1946 in Springfield, the son of John W. and Dorothy L. Knight Stroisch, Sr.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby and Terry Stroisch.

John married Judy Gheen in March of 1968.

John served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.  He then worked and retired from the Air National Guard.

He loved classic cars and was a grandpa to all.

Surviving is his wife, Judy.

Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 11am, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn.  Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery with military honors.

Memorial may be to the D.A.V.
