John "Steve" Gregurich

John “Steve” Gregurich , 76 of Pawnee passed away Monday, July 26, 2021.

He was born Sept. 29, 1944 in Pawnee, the son of John and Stella Vangeison Gregurich.

He married Elaine Lefrere and they later divorced.  He then married Becky Smith on Dec. 30, 2002.

Steve served in the U.S. Army for 2 years and retired from the Air National Guard.  He also retired from the Illinois State Police after 30 years of services.

Surviving are his wife, Becky; one son, Chris (Elizabeth) Gregurich; one daughter, Jill Gregurich; five grandchildren, Madison (Dustin) Regan, Lydia Hannah, Gabe and Alex Gregurich and Bella Padget; eight great-grandchildren; three step-children, Phillip Tyler Smith, Megan (Jake) Swanson and Morgan (Carl) Neyew; one sister, Janet (Bill) Muncy; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9am till time of services 10:30am, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Noah Gregurich officiating.  Burial will be in Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee.

Memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or the Animal Protective League.
