John “Peno” Covi, Sr. 62 of Divernon passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his home.
He was born May 28, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Joseph A. and Norma J. Jacaway Covi, Sr.
He married Mary E. Harbour on May 1, 1982.
Peno owned and operated Joe’s Radiator Shop in Springfield for 20 years. He loved and adored his grandsons Carson and Payton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; one son, John (Megan) Covi, Jr.; two grandsons, Carson and Payton; one sister, Sue Ann Covi; two brothers, Joe Covi, Jr. and Jeff Covi; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:00am till 11am, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon. Private family burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
Memorials may be made to his grandsons’ education fund, please make checks payable to Mary Covi.
