John Joseph (Jack) Barnwell

John Joseph (Jack) Barnwell, 82, of Farmersville passed away peacefully on December 11, 2018. 

He was born February 14, 1936,  the son of John Joseph and Ann (Gilhousen) Barnwell.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Daniel Barnwell, and one daughter, Katrina Garwood.

He married his High School sweet heart, Elizabeth Ann Bedinghaus and she preceded him in death.

Jack was in Navy and served 3 years in Guam. He worked for Common Wealth Edison power plant for 30 years before retiring to Wyoming to build the log cabin of his dreams, he loved the Mountains. He was a Jack of all trades and loved woodworking and building things.  He could always be found hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend and will be remembered for his zest for adventure.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; brother, Mick Barnwell; sister, Louise Armstead; children, Joe (Nancy) Barnwell and their children, Joe and Misty; Theresa (Stan) Hare and their children Austin, Dylan and Jenny; Jim (Connie) Barnwell and their children Andrea,  James, Jessica, Phillip, Tabitha, and Maria; stepchildren, Nikki Fetter, and her children, Michelle, Adam, Lennon;  Sandy Walk, and her children Julie, Jeremy, Micah, and Joelle; Hugh Wilson and his son Brandon; Barry Wilson and his daughter Kayla and numerous great grand-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 9:30am till time of services at 10:30am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. James Palakudy officiating.
