Joanne Andring Obituary
Joanne S. Andring, 90 of Pawnee passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital.
She was born Nov. 25, 1931 n Antioch, CA, the daughter of John V. and Sylvia B. Engdahl Dalton.
She married Donald M. “Jack” Andring on Oct. 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2005. Also, preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael.
Joanne was a voluntary E.M.T. for the Pawnee Ambulance Services for 20 years. She was a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church. She was very active with the Pawnee Food Pantry.
Surviving are two sons, Scott (Kathy) Andring and Donald Andring; one daughter, Kelly Courtney; six grandchildren, Matthew, John, Samantha, Dalton, Nora and Jack; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Patricia Luedke, Mary Ann Day, Kay (Terry) Pederson and Gerry Feudo; one brother, Stephen (Therese) Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10am till time of funeral mass at 11am, Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Kincaid with Rev. Dan Willenborg officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee.
