Jo Ellen Moore

Jo Ellen Moore, 65 of Virden passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 29, 1960 in Litchfield, the daughter of Ross and Veda Wilson Slightom.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Janice White, Julie Jenkins and Mike Slightom.

She married Rusty Moore on August 7, 2004.

Jo Ellen owned and operated Jo’s Place in Virden.

Surviving are her husband, Rusty; two sons, Travis (Theresa) Millburg and Christopher (Ashley) Millburg; one daughter, Lindsi (William) Morrow; three step-sons, Jesse (Haven) Moore, Noah (Ana) Moore and Joel Moore; five grandchildren, Chase and Lilly Millburg, Quinn, Rees and Camden Morrow; two brothers, David (Gloria) Slightom, Dennis Slightom; sister-in-law, Jane Slightom; brother-in-law, David Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 12pm, Monday, May 4, 2026 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Rich McElfresh officiating.  Burial will follow at Virden Cemetery.
