Obituary
Jane Olah, 98 of Auburn passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 at the Bridge Care Suites with her family at her side.
She was born Oct. 13, 1924 in West Frankfort, IL; the daughter of Henry and Elise Couturiaux.
She married John Olah in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 2011 after 68 years of marriage. Also, preceded in death by two brothers, Clement and Eugene; sister, Clemence Guthrie; grandson, Johnny Olah and great-grandson, Noah Nottingham.
Jane retired as a bookkeeper from Giuffre Buick in Springfield.
Jane is survived by one son, John (Carol) Olah of Auburn; one daughter, Alice (Roy) Nottingham of Springfield; one granddaughter, Barbara Olah; three grandsons, Ryan (Christina) Nottingham, Aaron Nottingham, and Mike Olah; three great-grandchildren; a nephew and cousin.
Private family services will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield with Cindy Lash of West Side Christian Church officiating.
Memorials may be made to Auburn Fire and Rescue or charity of your choice.
