James Franklin Brannan, 83 of Palos Verdes Estates, CA, formerly of Divernon, passed away on November 12, 2019.
He was born August 25, 1936 the son of Walter Franklin and Lorretta “Zoe” Magee Brannan.
He married Isabelle Covi on April 28, 1962.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, aviation and car enthusiast. His passion for wildlife inspired him to work the wetlands for Ducks Unlimited, and to sponsor an exhibit in the Los Angeles Natural History Museum’s Hall of Birds.
Surviving are two sons, Walter Sean (Sheryl) Brannan and Matthew Covi (Jennifer Robbins) Brannan; five grandchildren, Covi Loveridge Brannan, Adelaide Mae Brannan, Isabella Claire Brannan, Westley Hobbs Brannan, and True Xavier Brannan; several nieces and nephews.
Private family graveside services will be held at Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.
