Ilene Parlier Divjak

Ilene Parlier Divjak, 101, of Auburn passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at Eastland Independent and Assisted Living Center, Auburn.

She was born April 9, 1919 in Chapin, IL, the daughter of Joseph Eldon Parlier and Blanche Yeck.  She was raised with a great stepfather, Ernest Loughary as her father died when she was four years old.

She married Karl (Chuck) Divjak and they resided in Auburn during the rest of their lives.  He preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are her son, Rev. Jerry (Mary Dee); daughter, Karen (Terry) Johnson; three grandsons, Eric (Denise), Darrin (LeAnn) and Jason (Julie) and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at Auburn Cemetery. 

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
