Frances Coleman

Frances Coleman, 87 of Auburn passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 23, 1932 in Henryetta, OK the daughter of Ira and Addie (McElhannon) Harris.

She married Billy Gene Coleman on Dec. 20, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2009.  Also, preceded in death by a son, Mark; daughter, Francie Hardy; grandsons, Aaron Coleman and Jace Coleman; twin brother, John and sister, Gena Rouse.

Frances was active in her local church where she played organ along with the women’s group.  She enjoyed playing volleyball and recreational refereeing.  She loved to spend time conversating with others.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Addie (Tom) Anderson and Janie Coleman; two sons, Craig (Lori) Coleman and Chris (Charlotte) Coleman; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Private family services will be held followed by a memorial service in Wichita, KS.
