Ella “Ellie” Louise (Vangeison) Berry, 92 of Pawnee passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at High Point Residence in Taylorville.
She was born November 4, 1932 in Pawnee, the daughter of David and Lillian Ennis Vangeison.
Ella married Ralph Berry on May 31, 1953 at Zenobia Baptist Church and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2008. Also, preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Raymond, Donald, Myron and Aaron Vangeison and two sisters, Martha Stevens and Dorothy Sandidge.
She was a member of the Divernon Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda (Tim Olmsted) Berry and Deanna (Paul) Figge; four grandchildren, Abby (Tyler) Kuhn, Lizzy (Dan) Schuh, Adam Figge and Laura (Brad) Blumenstock; three great-grandchildren, Hilda and Josephine Blumenstock and Charlotte Ella Schuh; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 11am, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Rev. Dave Lithgow officiating. Burial will be in Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League or Auburn Emergency Squad.
