Donna L. Cashen

Donna L. Cashen, 88 of Pawnee passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1931 in Glenarm, the daughter of Delover and Mildred Leftwich Mulvany.

She married Joseph Paul Cashen and he preceded her in death on May 24, 1976.  Also, preceded in death by one son, Randy; one sister, Kathy Parsons and one brother, Gene Mulvany.

Donna was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pawnee and later was a member St. Rita’s in Kincaid. She was a member of the choir at St. Mary’s, loved ballroom dancing and gardening.  She ran an in-home daycare from 1989 to 2015.

Surviving are her seven children, James Cashen, Colleen (Tom) Scott, Tom (Beth) Cashen, Father Michael Cashen, Terence (Kathy) Cashen, Kathleen (Jamie) White and Robert Cashen; 12 grandchildren; 4great-grandchildren;  one sister, Freda Ginther; several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon.  Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
