Obituary
Donald E. McAfee, 90 of Auburn passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Lewis Memorial in Springfield.
He was born June 10, 1932 in Zanesville, IL; the son of Raleigh and Ora Dermint McAfee.
He married Jeanette Anjoski on June 28, 1952 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 2020. Also, preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Lynn; eight brothers and one sister.
Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was self employed for over 40 years.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela (Greg) Boesdorfer; one son, Bill (Diana) McAfee; one granddaughter that they raised, Misty (Jack) Crissey and five other grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Auburn Cemetery with Deacon Denny Baker officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
