David Wayne King

David Wayne King, 67 of Auburn passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.

He was born April 19, 1955 in Springfield, the son of Robert Wayne and Meda Jane Crowe King. He was preceded in death by his father.

David graduated from Auburn High School in 1973 and from DeVry University in 1978. He was employed at Dickey-john in Auburn for 23 years and later was self-employed till he retired.

David was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn.

Surviving are his mother, Meda Jane King of Auburn; two sisters, Sharon King and Carolyn (Rick) Favre both of Auburn; two aunts; two uncles; one niece; one nephew; one great niece; and three great nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 pm till 7 pm, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Thursday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn with Rev. James Palakudy officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.
